About Den Haag GAA
We are a Gaelic football, hurling & camogie club based in Den Haag, but made up of members from other surrounding areas. We field men and women’s teams for each sport, competing in European tournaments from the Baltics to the Mediterranean. The following are some of our proudest achievements as a club to date: Men’s European Football Championship winners in 2010, 2009, 2006 and 2002. Men’s European Hurling Championship winners in 2012, 2007, 2003 and 2002.
HistoryFounded in the 1970s and affiliated with Croke Park since 1999, Den Haag GAA Club is one of the longest established and most successful GAA clubs on mainland Europe. Den Haag GAA is one of 5 GAA clubs in the Netherlands, the others being Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Maastricht and Groningen. We boast highly competitive men and women’s teams for both football and hurling/camogie. We also have underage teams for children from 5 years of age.
